Root trouble installing gingerbread via clockwork

I have had this problem for a few days now. I follow all the steps from the sticky and when i go to install part 1 i get

Installation aborted.

I have tried redownloading from many places and mirrors but none work. What could this be? I need my gingerbread. Any help would be appreciated.

D2 bootstrap. I have followed word for word. Probably tried 15 times.

Hmmm ok, what are you running right now? Froyo or Ota Gingerbread?

are you trying to install stock GB or deodexed GB?

I fixed the problem. Apparently you cant use the two part sbf method.(Happy holidays .320)(Shado .340) I have sbf with those over 20 times and never knew there was a one part sbf. Thanks guy for your help as always.
