Trouble loading widgets

I have multiple batteries for my phone and when one gets low I just pop it out, and pop a full one in, doing a hard reset at the same time to start anew. Anyhow, sometimes when I do this I lose all my widgets, they won't load and no matter what I do (turn on and off, hard reset, etc) they don't come back. Have to send all the error messages to the trash and replace widgets where I had them.

Any ideas??

I don't think a hard reset is a good thing to do over and over. They should be used as a backup option to a normal shut down. Why don't you power down your device normally? That might avoid this problem.

That is my understanding of how the term is used in reference to phones.

I'm with you then that an orderly shut down would be best before changing batteries. Battery pulls should be reserved for emergencies.
