I switched my ROM tonight from MIUI to BeliEVO and I made a mistake that I can't correct 
I deleted all of the contacts by accident and tried recovering them through "Import/Export Contacts" (I have like 5 backups). When I tried to do any or all of those, they said that it failed while moving.
I believe the problem may lie with the ROMs so that's why I am posting here. BeliEVO is a kinda old ROM with little to no support still on Android 2.2 and MIUI was Android 2.3.3 as were the other ROMs I backed up contacts on before that and I think but not for sure that that may be the problem.
Either way, I'd really love to get my contacts back if possible. I am pretty sure they are backed up to my Google account too cause that is one of the options that comes up.
EDIT: I went into "Sync Accounts" in Settings and it says that there is an error when it tries to sync contacts. Everything else syncs fine.
I'm going to be flashing another ROM so this problem is whatever...but thanks to anyone who was going to help. I'll come back if my contacts don't transfer on the new ROM.
