Root Trouble Rooting G2

Apparently I'm doing something wrong. When I watch the video and follow the steps for the VisionARY temp root, all goes well until I get to the part where you open Terminal and test to see if you have SuperUser. Everytime I test, it always tells me Permission Denied, yet I have the superuser app in my app drawer.

What is going on? Dugh!!

If you have ever frequented the XDA forums, it clearly states there that the VISIONary method of rooting is not encouraged. I would suggest and recommend you use the following guide for rooting your G2, as this has worked for me and many other individuals.

HTC Vision - XDA-Developers

Okey dokey!! I'm going with that way, kuz things don't seem to be working for me the other way. Alrighty then...

Ok. Now I'm having more trouble with Rooting my G2. I did the second method using ADB and stuff, and I get all the way down (skips the HBOOT part for developers) and I get to the part where you verify, and everything verifys like it's suppose to. I even have the SuperUser app. It stays there when I turn the phone off and back on. Now here's the thing. When I open ROM Manager, it tells me that "I need to Root my phone for it to work." What Tha Truck!? Didn't I just root my phone!? Now I'm lost. -_-

All you have to do is temp root with Visionary, do the terminal commands to S-off, restart, temp root with visionary, attemp perma root with visionary, the end.

Five minutes of work and I promise it works.
