trouble rooting my hero

ive been trying to root my sprint hero and i have downloaded all the files, but when i go to the command part it says the system cannot find path specified. i think im following the guide step by step but i keep getting that message.

Did you download the sdk? Did you extract it to your C: drive as it states? My guess is that you did't get that part quite right.

i dowloaded sdk and extracted it to the c drive, do i copy the whole code in the command box. it already says c:\users\jill&amber>. Do i type the code over that or bring a new c:\ up. hope you understand me.

If you properly extracted sdk to the C: drive, then you should have a folder in C: drive that is named android-sdk-windows

Just type this: cd C:\android-sdk-windows\tools
Hit Enter

After you do, your command prompt should be as follows:
C:\android-sdk-windows\tools

Then, continue following the rest of the rooting guide from there. Good luck!
