Trouble Rooting Phone

[levio]

Hi guys, I'm trying to root my phone so I can unlock it to other networks. When i'm trying to do this on Odin it either fails or seems to be stuck on the setupnetwork message. Any ideas? Thanks

O.k managed to Root the phone but now all that happens when I try to start it up is the yellow triangle appears followed by the Siyah logo and then the phone just goes dead. Please help lol (shoulda just paid to get it done)

Hello and welcome to Android Forums levio!

Right, lets see if we can sort you out.

Just 4 quick questions first...

1. Which model of Galaxy S2 do you have as per Settings > About phone?

2. Which version of Android are you on?

3. Which method of rooting did you use, a link would help?

4. Which version of Siyah kernel, exactly, did you use?

The answers to the above will help us to help you.
