Root Trouble rooting Thunderbolt

Hi. I have been trying to root my thunderbolt. It is on 2.3.4 and the 2.11.605.19 update. I have been searching for the right way to do it, and tried using the ThunderboltTool.exe method, whichever that one is. When i do try that, i guess i am missing a driver or something, but i don't have any idea how to get the right ones. Any help pointing me in the right direction or showing me a different, better method would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Ok well there were no bangs in the device manager. So instead I moved over to my laptop running windows 7. Which of course didn't even occur to me earlier haha. Anyway I tried the drivers and it did not help. When I run the ThunderboltTool batch file, I get the message that the device is not connected. I guess a good question to ask is if this is even the best method for rooting my phone? This was the only way I found for rooting on the 2.11.605.19 update.

I rooted mine using the "old" method back before .19 so I can't help you with this method. Hopefully one of the guides will chime in. Have you checked the pinned TBolt rooting thread?
