Root Trouble rooting with new update

I just updated from lg (supposed to fix restarting problem) and after the update i wasnt rooted anymore. So i downloaded gingerbreak1.20 again and hit root. It stays there for a long time ultimately doing nothing. Should i try using gingerbreak v1.00 or v1.10? maybe i cant be rooted yet because of the update?

edit: ya i downloaded superoneclick and i opened the .exe with my phone connected to pc and clicked root and all this stuff happened but it was not rooted. ):

Newest update from LG cannot be rooted. If your software version on the phone is "2.2.2", the phone cannot be rooted without downgrading to stock LG "2.2.1" ROM.

This will of course put your phone back into the force close/reboot batch. Take your pick. Stable and stock, or downgraded with issues and root capabilities.

i was hoping that too but i went ahead and downgraded two more skeptics phones today?
