Help Trouble sending SMS

Hi all

The problem i have is: when i try to send a SMS to a specific person nothing happens, If i send it to this person and another person (multiple SMS it sends).

Ive been in touch with the network operator and have tried all sorts of things.

Tried me sim card in another phone and it sends, put another sim card in me phone to send a text and it doesn't.

I'm sure its a phone problem not a sim card.

Then they send me to HTC who are still trying to fix this problem

Has anybody else had this problem or know how to fix it.

What's your software version? This was one of the bugs with the initial release of Gingerbread. You can install something like GoSMS or Handcent and that should resolve the issue.

Alternatively, if you delete then re add the contact, I think that sorts it.

Software version is: 2.50.61.3
Andriod version: 2.3.3

Ok, try GoSMS or Handcent then, that should hopefully do the trick.

As El Pres says... try Go SMS - it's what I've been using and never really had any issues with it!!

EDIT - it's free on the market!

I highly doubt they'll give you a new phone just because you can't send SMS to certain contacts.

Try the other apps, see if they work out for you.
