Which Android version do you currently have?

Was the failed update from an OTA or some other method?

I suspect you're trying to update from a version other than the one expected; this shouldn't happen with OTA (it will do more than one update if necessary) but can of course happen if the update was installed manually ( ie sideloaded).

The zip you're using is to update 4.3 (JWR66Y) to 4.4 (KRT16S) and will fail if you're using any other version.

Okay, let's start from scratch ... go to menu>settings>about phone. Scroll to the bottom and let us know what build number you have right now.

Oh, and one other thought, did you switch from Dalvik to ART?

It sounds to me like the update file was either not completely downloaded or corrupted in some way. I think you might be better off just flashing a new image of 4.4 and starting clean.

The OTA is failing because the md5 for the boot.img (the kernel) doesn't match what the ota says it should be. This likely indicates a bad download of the ota file or that you have a custom kernel installed.
