Root trouble w/ back button in stock media player

i'm posting in "all things root" incase the sollution requires it. Ok so when in stock media player after scrolling thru artists,then choosing album,then choosing song (thus playing) and then wanting to go bak to lists in reverse i am ,alternately to my wishes and i would think reasonable expectation, taken instead bak to my home-screen.So my question is is there a solution to this. thak u in advance. also if i hit the list button im taken to the biginning of the list and this is not a solution as it is not where i want to go. i want to go bak in reverse: (Songs,Albums,Artists)
