Help Trouble with EVO

I'm having some problems
1. Constant force close window with Gmail. "The application Gmail(process com.google.android.gm) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.
2. New York Times App will not refresh states- Network Unavailable "network connection required to access the most recent articles. Ensure that your phone is not in airplane mode.
3. Facebook for android having constant Force Close- "the application Facebook (process com.facebook.katana) has stopped unexpectedly Please try again"

First the Gmail a few months ago through my primary google account, no problem with my secondary email account.
Next New York times this week
Now Facebook today.

For Gmail I have tried the suggestion of moving all mail from inbox to another folder (had same problem with palm pre and doing this fixed it) No change with EVO
NYT App- Uninstalled multiple times no change, took out battery.
Facebook- nothing yet

Any suggestions.

Are you rooted and running a custom ROM?

If you're completely stock... try factory resetting the phone and delete everything from the SD card that you don't need to save (back it all up first, obviously).
