Help Trouble with PC Suit connection

I have trouble with connecting my P500 to my XP SP2 desktop using PC Suit IV.
I suppose I follwed all instructions and downloaded correct drivers and software.
Initially I could not connect to phone with error message. I did some googling and turned on some USB debug mode. Now I could see my SMS at least. But no success with sync with contact, pics etc.

I really want to update my existing handset with correct contact using PC suit. any help??

One quickie question: Can anyone advise on how to forward SMSes on P500 ? I am sorry if this is obvious

can you give some more details. what error messages are you encountering ?

forwarding sms-es: bring up the sms in "messaging". Press and hold finger in the text field of the sms, and a pop-up screen will give a "forward" option. Easy!
