Help Truncated messages?

Some of my text messages seem to be getting cut short. Has this happened to anyone else?

I also get some texts that are followed with a message saying something like "Media Objects Removed." What is that about?

Thanks for any help. Just got my Droid Eris and I am loving it.

what is short. Default is 160 characters and if you get an email that says media objects removed it may be due to the size. You are only allowed 1.5mb in an email. If this doesnt help hit me up

This is actually only happening with texts sent from other phones.

r the messages longer than 160 characters. The object may b bigger than 320kb also

The latest version of Handcent SMS has an option available that splits messages over 160 char. While it does it to all messages, in network or not, it seems it will allow you to bypass the verizon default limit.
