Root Trying root Optimus M using gingerbreakv1.2

Lurker
So I have an Optimus M with 2.2.1 from Metro.

I have installed Gingerbreakv1.2, formated the SD card and ran Gingerbreak. Superuser is installed, but there are no apps listed in the app list. The only app that is listed is Titanium Backup. I am assuming it didnt properly root. Anyone know what can be causing this or if there is a fix?

Run the app again, reboot after each time it fails. do no touch the phone at all when it is running.

Oh...he is rooted

@OP only apps that need root permissions will be in the app list you are speaking of.

Oh I understand what he means now. Yea only root permissions apps you will see you wont see default system apps unless their root permission apps. :)

Well I rebooted sever times, same thing. If the phone was rooted then I should be able to remove the bloatware correct? Tried to but couldnt. Anyway, I upgraded the superuser app and tried that no effect. So I ran gingerbreak and ran the "un-root" option and then tried to root it again. Now my phone is stuck on the andriod logo and wont go any further. Its doing the animation and looks like its about to load but just loops then eventually times out/freezes altogether. So now what?
