Help Trying to find IMEI - get the following message...??

dynamic92

Newbie
Okay, so I have flashed my previouslt TMobile branded Galaxy S2, now when doing the CSC as mentioned in the guide, I get the following message "Connection problem or invalid MMI code" ??? What's all that about?

Also it says "Conditional call forwarding active" whenenever I phone someone, just noticed that. How can I sort all this out???

I actually get this message using 99% of the # codes I have tried??? How do I fix it - anyone else had this problem? It's especially annoying for speed dial....

Hi dynamic92, I answered you in another thread you started on this question too. I found that you need to enter an asterisk * prefix to whatever # codes # you have been trying. Example: enter *#0011# and it will recognize the code. If you don't prefix it with the *, like #0011#, then it fails and gives that error message "invalid mmi code". I found this out on my Samsung Galaxy S II. Not sure what phone you are using, but I hope it is same operation.

*#06# is the generic code to get the IMEI number for just about every mobile phone I've ever come across since the early 90's.

It definitely is still the code used by the GS2
