Trying to Re-root!

I'm trying to root my phone again. I had to return to factory settings for Sprint Tech in-store service. I'm currently running the 2.27.651.6 software build.

My last root was via flashrec. I used the ALOYSIOUS 2.09 ROM.

I'm strongly considering using running the new AOSP 2.2.1.

How do i root this build, is there a simple one click method and what u guys think about ROM selection?

I used z4root last week or so, worked for me. See the thread below, the guru's helped me, alot o good info in there.

If not, wait for one of the top dogs, they'll get you fixed quick.

As Granite1 said, you can use Z4Root. You can also use the Super One-Click program that you install on your PC to root.

Z4Root used to be on the Android Market, but it was pulled about a month ago, so you can grab it here and sideload it: MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service .

Yeah, I originally had that one in the list as well. I took it out because I forgot if it worked on Android 2.1 build .6.

Haha. We have so many easy options for rooting our handsets these days that I am beginning to lose track of them all.

No problem at all! I am glad that Z4Root is still abundantly available on the Internet.

I have a copy of Z4Root saved in multiple places just in case. I am all about redundancies.

Same for me on the Universal Androot I love that app as it takes less than a minute and works great. I always save copies of the APK and one minute they are in the market and the next they are gone, lol
