Root Trying to replace com.android.phone with stock ICS -- force close issues help!

So I'm trying to replace the sense dialer with a stock ICS one (see here). I clear data, fix permissions and replace the system app and reboot but then I still get nonstop FCs from it. Ideas?

put the file in the rom on a pc then flash it. Pull your battery & do an hboot to get into clockwork & mount Usb to transfer the rom to your sd card.
 
I tried the whole "trying" to remove sense, it's everywhere inside kinda like a disease lol for real though, needless to say I had to put back what I took out before I had a bootable rom
Worst case scenario you'll just have start from scratch as a fresh install.
 
My dialer is the stock sense one, nothing modded about it so there is no issue with it. What I take is he wants to use the ics dialer app, where that isn't going to turn out to well. I don't mind to help out with adding these types of mods, how ever trying to get aosp on sense never turns out well. So I can't comment to the issue really, let alone can't comment what the issue is with out the files you are trying to flash.
 
Yeah 2fasts rom has the stock sense dialer, and the rom itself works fine. I'm using an apk from a de-sensed Kingdom ROM and heard tale that I would be able to swap it into a ROM, but things aren't going according to plan haha
