Root Trying to root another Droid.

I got a refurbed Droid from Verizon today because my current phones button broke. That was rooted and had Pete GPA12. So i have multiple roms on my SD card. When following the 2.2 root with SBRecovery it says put the rom in the root folder, well my sd card doesn't have a root folder. I get No tar file found when trying to even search for a rom. I am at a lost, I installed the Update.zip. I even tried getting Rom manager on the new phone but i couldn't get it to stay on long enough because of the battery thing i believe.

Any help would be great.

Root folder = \
As in, don't put it in a folder but on the "root folder" of the sdcard.

It's much easier if you flash ClockworkMod Recovery instead of SPR Recovery in ROM Manager. Then you can flash .zips of any name in any folder.
