Trying to set a downloaded ringtone as a ringtone

I have a Motorola Photon. I downloaded a ringtone from zedge onto my phone. My phone is showing the ringtone in my "downloads" file but I cant seem to figure out how to set it as a ringtone! SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP! Thank you!

I Zedge you should be able to choose the tone yo downloaded and set it as a ringtone. Another option is to download the free app tone picker and that will allow you to choose alternate tones for ringtones.

You should be able to go to your Dialer app or Phone app, press the menu button (or three vertical dots / ellipses) and choose Settings. You should see a "Phone ringtone" option to select. If you've got a file explorer app installed (like ES File Explorer or Astro File Manager, etc.) you should be given an option to choose the installed app and then navigate to your Downloads folder where your downloaded ringtone should be.
