Help Trying to sideload apps

HI.
I am following this video:
YouTube - How to install 3rd party applications on the Samsung Captivate Galaxy S device (AT&T 2.1 Eclair)

to learn how to sideload apps on the Samsung Captivate with AT&T.

I don't see the "com.android.providers.settings" in the /datadb folder, though. Both my 'data' folder and 'datadb' folders are empty.

What's wrong?

I don't know about getting any programs from the market place. Follow this guide and u should have no problems:
