Root Trying to Un-Root....

So I've followed several guides to unrooting. Each time I download a stock ROM it's a corrupt file... Does anyone have a stock ROM that is a valid file?

Turns out it was the same file.

So MD5 verifies the file as good, however I still cannot open the archive. Am I supposed to be able to open the archive with just winzip? I'm going to load it up on my SD Card but I'm not holding my breath....

You don't unzip the file. You place the file onto your SD card fully zipped and go into hboot where it gets auto-detected and it runs from there. Otherwise you can achieve the same results from running the RUU program on a Windows computer while hooked up to the phone via USB cable.

The file that is the PB31IMG zip was already extracted from the RUU and are in their final, usable form as is.
