Root Trying to unroot

That's the eng bootloader. What was your rooting method? I assume it was a method that granted s-off through the eng bootloader rather than unrevoked. I can't be sure without your answer, though, because you can (could) downgrade to the eng bootloader after unrevoked. A better way to determine what you should use is to tell us what your baseband radio version is along with your hardware version. Technically, you can flash any one of the PC36IMG RUU files that you want. It's probably best to stick with something 3.29 and up, though, depending on your current radio version.

I did it the bootloader way. I flashed Fresh's latest radio, "fresh-3.5-radios" Not sure which that is.

Hardware version is 003

Okay so I jumped the gun and went ahead and put the PC36IMG on my flash drive and it loaded through the bootloader, but now I cant seem to get to the recovery mode. Now my phone just either gets stuck saying HTC or it reboots into fastboot usb.
How do i fix this???

I am not sure I did it correct...because when I try to click reboot, it just keeps booting into fastboot usb. I used the 3.29 one.

Got it. The fact that you no longer have recovery means it certainly did something. If you go to hboot, what version do you now have?

I am not sure it worked because i believe it said update failed, then it asked if i wanted to reboot and i clicked yes. Now I am stuck in this loop.

Okay I changed the file name to PC36IMG.zip and then put it on my sdcard and when i went into the bootloader it loaded the new image and then I clicked fast boot and clicked reboot and it goes back into fastboot.

So, you flashed the new one, and it's still rebooting? What does it say your baseband radio version is in hboot?

Interesting. You still have the newest radio. As long as you don't mind giving up the ability to flash the eng bootloader again (might still be possible), try this file instead:

MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service

That is the latest OTA update, which matches your current radio version. That will update your hboot version. It should without saying that any nandroid backups you made before are now useless since you're already on a different hboot version. Not sure if you intended on rerooting at any point.

It should have said that with the other update. If it didn't, perhaps you renamed the file wrong. Try again with the other one if you like. That's what you want to see, though. Say yes to flash it.

it said it the very first time, so I clicked yes, and then it said update failed and started the loop. who knows. I think it worked this time, hopefully. I really appreciate it.

Great :). Glad that finally worked for you. Now I'm wondering if there was just a problem with that other PC36IMG. It sounds like the second time around it just never flashed. Either way, I'm glad it's up and running now.
