Help Trying to upgrade with Kies - nothing happens

I've installed the latest version of Kies... on windows 7. When i start it, it recognizes my phone and says the upgrade is available. When I click upgrade I get a popup asking if i want to allow the computer to run this file. I click Yes... Then nothing happens. Goes right back to the upgrade button screen. A never ending loop.

Any ideas? I've tred rebooting the PC and the phone. Phone is fully charged too. No error messages, just nothing happening.
 
turning off your firewall and virus protection software. I have a laptop with 32 bit 7 on it and it worked perfectly without having to do that. Just a suggestion. Good luck.

Confirmed, Deuceman. The link had the answer for my situation. The solution simply worked. Didn't have to disable virus or firewall. Thanks for posting!
 
Disabling anti-virus worked for me too. Thanks for the tip.
