Help TTS announcing homescreen page number

(this post is also on xda, but I wanted as many to see it as possible, sorry if that annoys anyone.)

I just got the 4.1.2 update on my XEU SGS2.
under settings/accessibility/services I have Talkback (off), Tasker (on), Utter (on).

Since the update my phone has started announcing the page number that I am on when I swipe through
my homescreens. I do not want it to. "page 1 of 4, page 2 of 4" etc etc.

It seems having anything on in accessibility/services causes the problem to occur.

I have tried enabling and disabling talkback with no luck, and turning Tasker and Utter off individually makes no difference.
Turning both off however, stops the problem...

I have tasks set up that need this switched on though, and Utter needs it to work properly.

Has anyone else had this issue and fixed it?
Any ideas?

cheers.

Utter would look to be favourites as the culprit then, as it is a beta release that is not fully tested on JB according to the write-up in Play Store. Try uninstalling it and re-booting to see if it helps.

I have just tried:

1. uninstall Utter and reboot. The problem remains.

reinstall utter.

2. unistall Tasker and reboot. The problem remains.

reinstall Tasker.

Whenever 1 app has a toggle in accessibility/services I get the issue.
If I turn both off the problem goes away.

But that limits the functionality of those apps.
