turn by turn navigation over car kit

Guys,

I have a bluetooth car kit that pairs with the phone perfectly every time I start the car.

I would have expected the audible "turn bu turn" navigation on google maps to come over the speakers through this. But I have no sound.

It works fine if not connected by bluetooth - ie sounds comes through phone.

Anyone else run into this and how did you resolve it?

i was on the google forums about this as i want to use it with my motorcyle bluetooth headset, turns out in this build of google maps, voice will not output to bluetooth. However someone put in a request to have this in a future build and about 300 people supported it.

in short, it's a desirable feature, google know it is, so expect to see it in the next update, if not, the one after!

Thanks @jaz5100 - good to know - I have a garmin nuvi so don't really care about the functionality but though it was something I was doing wrong.
