I just bought a new desire and am getting text alerts for eveery email I get into my hotmail account. I do not have my email account logged in the mail options, nor is my number listed in my hotmail account. It is driving me nuts. The HTC help line couldnt help, nor could the shop I bought the phone from. I have already reset to factory settings with no joy.
