Help Turn off Haptic Feedback in Gingerbread?

I go to Settings > Sound > and turn off Vibrating Feedback. That doesn't work when it comes to general typing on the browser and other apps. Is there a way to turn it off?

The vibrate for the keyboard is settings-language & keyboard-touch input (unless you are using a different keyboard then choose that one)-text input-uncheck vibrate when typing
