Root Turn OTA update notification back on?

On a rooted droid, can OTA update notifications easily be turned back on? If so, maybe we should all do it and increase the odds of catching the update.zip.

I did this and then rebooted and got stuck at the boot animation, and it was fine before. I had to do a restore :/ Wouldnt recommend it.

If I am not mistaken, this is a great way to brick you phone on a rooted phone when the official 2.1 is pushed.
