Turning 30 this month...need your help getting in shape!

A quick update: My partner at work that I am working out with decided that since we play words with friends a lot that we should incorporate push ups into the game. If either of us score a word over 30, 50, or 100 points we have to do push ups. And the loser of the game has to do push ups. Our arms are sore...

I'll try to get some "before pics up soon" lol, no head shots though. I'm too embarassed :)

Good Idea

Yeah, no really. I've got a degree in this stuff. (And not just some trainer's certificate.) He doesn't need protein shakes. A good diet will do just fine.

AP...you don't have to have protein shakes, but to build muscle protein helps. So you could just diet with high protein foods(which can get expensive) or you can do what majority of people do now these days and have a few protein shakes a day.

Ahem. That link proudly and blatantly brought to you by the supplement industry. ;) And claiming that a high protein food diet would be expensive over buying shakes is a bit silly. You have to buy food anyway in addition to those shakes. Why not save the money from the shakes and buy some quality food. JayC, where did you get your fitness and nutrition education?
