Help turning mobile internet on and off

Is it possible to do this on the main screen? I hate having to wade into Settings all the time.

Widget.
You can long press the screen - widgets - power control.

That gives you wifi, data, brightness.
I think, it's been a long time since I used it.

Or..
Long press the screen, maybe shortcut -settings - data.

Or

Look for things like apn droid from the market.

Turn off the phone, theres a list of options, silent mode, power off, vibration mode, airplane (Gosh its an AEROPLANE) and, nestled at the bottom is.... Mobile network!

Unless youre running Gingerbread!Just updated mine, and its gone, so thanks to Gooner for the tip

Go Add Widget --> Settings --> Mobile network

You should get a 1x1 widget that toggles 3G.
