Turning Off 4G On The Inspire?

I am very unsatisfied with the HTC Inspire battery life. I know, I should have investigated. My bad.

There is a way to access a "secret" menu in the HTC Thunderbolt to shut of 4G and use 3G. This supposedly saves a ton of battery and still allows for decent internet access.

Is there something similar available for the Inspire?
