Help turning off 4g

is the *#*#4636#*#* thing reversible? I am not in a 4g area, but if this is something that cannot be undone I would rather not do it

yes you can always go back in a set it back to the other setting

so is it a thing where you call and it gives you the option to either enable or disable 4g? or do you need a different number or something?
