turning off our 3G

Does anyone know how to turn off the 3G on a Samsung captivate for at&t? I can't seem to find it in my settings tab. Please help!!

I'd download and use the 'Quick Settings' app.

Well if you are on 2.2 froyo update, you can long-press the power button and there is an option to do so.
