Help Turning off the Google search sound

When my phone is on silent, and I am using the Samsung keyboard, hitting the microphone key (the one that lets you do speech to text) still causes a brief sound letting me know to start talking. How do I turn off that sound?

think you have to go to volume settings and turn off 'media volume' all the way down, as it uses that for voice feedback as well as the trigger/recognizing sounds of Google Voice Search or Speech to Text

All 'mute' does on a Note 3 is disable ringtones, unlock/lock sounds, and the Nature sounds like water drops for touch. apparently text sounds from apps (Facebook, email, etc) miss that setting as well.
