Help turning trackpad off?

I dropped my phone in water n everything works except the trackpad acts up and tries to pull the camera up allt the time. Can I turn it off or turn off the hotkeyfor the trackpad? Thanks n advance

pretty sure you can turn it off in recovery mode. pull batt/insert then press and hold vol down + call + end call until load bar turns yellow.

your right. i thought it was recovery mode but i think it was a different mode where you press and hold call + press trackpad button + end call? i remember doing this on my moment when it had stock 1.5. it doesn't work on my rooted moment with radioactive froyo 1.8.6. it just stalls at boot screen. tho i do remember clearly that there was a setting to turn off trackpad and other hardware.
