Root Turning Triumph into gaming controller?

I have been seeing a lot of people talking about turning their phone into a gaming controller. Also, I have seen people talking about using their controller(wiimote?) to play games on their phones. Is there any way to do either of these with the Triumph? Also, I know that the ICS ROM has whyzor's new kernel that has some kind of gaming controller support? What's that all about?

I like to connect my tablet to my TV with an HDMI cable then use an app called Tablet Remote to use my Triumph as a controller/remote. Works good on some emulator and GTA 3. Too use a wii mote you also need an app called Wiimote Controller which connects both devices using bluetooth. As for the whyzor's kernel, it added support for the Onlive bluetooth controller that you can use with their app.

Ok so I got the Wiimote connected to my Triumph and it works...kind of...
The "B" and "A" buttons work. Nothing else. Am I doing something wrong. Or does it only work on certain games?

Well, it mostly works on emulators and games that support gamepads. Also, with in the app itself you can see if it is detecting the buttons. What are you trying to use it with?

I just tried it out on a couple apps I had downloaded on my phone(Angry Birds & Fruit Ninja). What Wii emulator do you recommend? And where can I find it? Thanks in advance!

The only emulators they have for android are for snes, nes, gba, gbc, gb, ps1, and n64. Most are in the market just search for them in the market

Those games are not meant to be played with a game pad so that's why it doesn't work.

Most of them should. The N64 might only be able to use a ps3 controller though since it needs a joystick.

No, it doesn't use bluetooth it uses a special kind of wifi adhoc type connection to connect to a 360.

There is also Atari emulators, NeoGeo/Pocket, CPS1, CPS2 not sure about CPS3..PCE..some ColecoVision ones...yep there are way more emulators than the usual home consoles, I know because I have them all LOL
