Root Tutorial for Rooting the Commando?

Hey guys, just got my Commando today and im already prepared to root it. I saw the (sadly few) threads of ppl successfully rooting, but still cant find a proper tut on the process.. i rooted my droid a long while back so im a bit rusty with this stuff.

Someone have a link, or want to write up a tut on how to root the phone?

And P.S. - is it possible to put a diff rom on it? Can i put Cyanogen on it? Someone reccomend a better rom/os? And also, is i t possible to keep the G'zone app with the compass and step counter and stuff, and still be able to use it with a different rom?

You have to download VZ's Vcast Media Manager on PC (that will give you the option to download drivers). Hook phone to PC via USB to install drivers. You may have to change USB mode to get them all to install. Download Super One-click. Run SOC with phone hooked to computer. Select "root" and wait for it to do its thing. Back everything up with Titanium.
