I've just deleted a number of rude posts.

No one here is the language police, if someone has taken the time to write a guide and your only comment is going to be criticising the grammar/spelling, don't bother. Both our Site Rules & Guidelines & Zero Tolerance Policy are quite clear about that.

mistichunter, I appreciate your efforts, but if these instructions are readily available in the ROM itself, I'm not going to sticky this at the moment. Thank you for the effort though, I'm sure many will find what you've done useful.

I think you can install it on any rom including stock. I don't believe you have to be on Cyanogenmod to be able to use it. I could be wrong though. I could always try it on a different rom (like stock) I guess. (even though I hate swype lol)

I moved this to the general Triumph section, because I was pretty sure this was for any OS version. I am pretty sure you don't need to be on CM9. If I am wrong I will move it back to ATR.

I currently use Swype with CM7, so I can confirm it works. Stock should work. I used it on my old Intercept, stock and custom and it worked fine. The Triumph should be the same

I certainly appreciate the OPs intention, I'm sure many will find this useful.

I have Swipe on my stock Triumph and it works great. I tried a few other swipe-like keyboards on the Triumph, but none were as good at identifying my "swiped" words as the real Swipe.

I can confirm that Swype works wonderfully on both stock and CM7 (TG reloaded).

I think the first thing I did when I got my MT was install Swype... The stock keyboard on Android makes me want to cut my fingers off.

I've never been much of a fan of Swype.. I try it once in a while to see what's new but eh, nothing impressive. One swiping keyboard I do like a lot is Flext9.
