TV Side View App

Will the TV Side View App only work with a Sony TV? I have a Toshiba Smart TV and really hoping to connect my phone to it.

Or alternatively does anyone know another way to connect my phone to smart tv wirelessly?

Looking at the Sony site, it does only look to be compatible with Sony TV's.

AllCast might do what you need it to?
