Tv tragedy again

That plasma tv isn't working again. It could be the batteries because the couch was wet for a while. No, there isn't money for another.

You don't need the good batteries, but I don't know what stores are around you.
I still have a Panasonic Plasma from 2012.I bought a cheaper remote a few years ago but it may have been for the matching Panasonic BD/PVR box.
My TV remote works, but I have to bury some buttons in to the circuit board before it responds. The PVR remote works well for most TV commands instead.
A pack of four AAA here can be £1 or £2.

$7.64 at the "discount" store was what I paid. That's for 8, only 4 needed. It's too bad they're not sold separately, but where would be the fun in that? They are working fine. I unplugged both ends of the power cord and left it for quite a while. When I use the power button, tv or remote, nothing happens as far as I can tell. Is there a tv troubleshooter available? Would the manual help? I'm sure it used to be around somewhere.

No the owners manual won't help.

If it doesn't power on then it's obviously broken and needs repair by someone other than yourself. You should not attempt to open it up or otherwise mess with it (I seem to recall having this discussion before).

Assuming you can even find a place that does repairs, having it fixed will likely cost more than a new TV.

@MadNine,

The dollar store is no longer selling all items at 1 dollar, lol.... They just need to change their name!
I know, lol. It was a dumb joke in a dumb moment that I hadn't realised I actually posted.
Our "Poundland" stores also have £2 and £5 deals etc. (phone accessories are very good)
Probably still have "99p"
stores around as well, doing the same. I'd have to ask my butler or other household staff :)
