Yeah, It was an error in the app. I never flashed the kernel, I installed it, just didn't flash. Not sure why. The 2600 Mhz is a kind of default reading I think. Only reason I think that is I just found a thread saying what the normal clock speed is.

FYI: not trying to be an anus, but flashing IS technically installing. Just downloading doesn't mean you installed it.

The normal clocked speed is 800 MHz. The OE comes slightly overclocked to 1 GHz. We've been able to stably overclock it to 1.6 GHz.
 
Pimp my ROM is interesting, I agree. However, many of the features it can add are already implemented if not by Leslie, then by Hashtag, and if not by Hashtag, then by myself, in our respective ROMs. Not everything, mind you, but over half.

Could be good for people who doesn't want to run a rom. I love this app on my HTC One V.


Note: Works on stock rooted rom also.

He's on Sleipnir where over half of these tweaks are already implemented, that's why he didn't see much of a huge change :P

But I do agree - if someone didn't want to use a custom ROM, then this would definitely work well for them.
 
Actually, I can list the ones that I know of (more may have been done by Hashtag or Leslie that I'm not aware of, and I'm only listing the features mentioned in this thread alone).

  1. - Better jpg image quality.
  2. - Better camera recording quality.
  3. - Lock launcher in memory .
  4. - Battery savings.
  5. - Disable kernel error checking.
  6. - Dalvik VM tweaks.
  7. - Faster scrolling.
  8. - Better touch responsiveness.
  9. - Faster browsing and download speed.
  10. - Reduce dialing time.
  11. - Misc 3G tweaks.
  12. - Deeper sleep.
  13. - Reduce black-screen time of the proximity sensor after a call.
  14. - Smoother video streaming.
  15. - Faster wifi connect/disconnect.
  16. - Overall smoothness improvements.
  17. - Increase the size of VM heap.
  18. - Enable hardware video acceleration.
  19. - Enable Android logger.
  20. - Enable gpu UI rendering.
  21. - Disable usage-data sending.
  22. - Disable volume buttons wake. (At least this is the case for me on Sleipnir, I'm fairly certain at one point I included this feature myself.)
  23. - Call Ring Delay : Define the interval of time in seconds between the dialing and the ringing.
So, of the 40 features listed just in this thread, 23 of them are included in Tagged and Sleipnir already. A few of the features are just turning on/off other features though. All in all, 57.5% of those features are already included.

Sorry, just felt like I had to do the math :P Pimp my ROM is a good thing, especially for those on stock rooted ROMs.
