Twice as fast as the current S4

Yeah, I took note of the, "Shin said Samsung is in talks with carriers in other countries about the phone. He did not specify which countries, or carriers."

We'll have to see how it pans out, and if "twice as fast" is enough of an incentive to cause enough carriers to jump all over it.

I don't consider faster download speeds, to be "twice as fast a phone". Besides that, nothing in the States to support those speeds.

Racking up 30+ mbit per sec, I'm not fiending for more speed.

There is apparently a refresh this fall that will have the 800 Qualcomm. Faster chipset that runs cooler.

I am getting my chippies confused then, since their lower fabrication plant is supposed to be cranking new lower fab chips out that are both faster and better in battery.

that will most likely be for the note 3, highly doubt it will come out in a future galaxy s4 version. they did the same thing with the s3 and the note 2

I thought so, but folks here asserted I was wrong. This should be the new chip with smaller fabrication. Still does not mean the US will see a S4 refresh with it.

Update:

Yep, as thought- it is a the new chipset I mentioned. Lower fabrication and faster chipset. The 600 is the same fabrication and design structure as the dual core in the S3. The 800 is the real deal change for the chipset family.

Still, if there is an S4 refresh with the 800, not too likely the US sees it, so probably the Note 3.
