Help Twitter/Monthtly Data Plan

Hello! I just got my HTC Inspire 4g yesterday and I have a few questions. This is my first time ever using a smartphone, so forgive me for the noob questions.

Firstly, on Twitter, how do you reply to someone's tweet or retweet something?

Secondly, in regards to my data plan, does tweeting something or checking my email count as data usage?

Finally, I realize that downloading apps/music/games on the phone would count as data usage. However, if I just transfer the music from my computer to the phone, would that also count as data usage? [or it'll just take up memory, but just want to verify.]

Thanks for helping a beginner out! :)

I dont use twitter so I cant help with how to ise it.

But as for data use, email, twitter, facebook, streaming music like on pandora, using the widgets on the phone for social networking or news/weather and the app market all use data. Basically if you were using a regular pc for it and now using your phone to do it its using data, if it needs access to the internet=data usage.

And no transfering music or files or pics stores on your pc to the phone does not use data

With twitter, a retweet is when you share the tweet with everyone that follows you. It will appear on your home and anyone that follows you will see it, also the person you retweeted will be able to see that you did so.

When you reply, you hit the reply button and @usernamehere appears, just type your text after that and the user is usually notified (depends on how they have their account setup) that you replied.

I like the simplicity of Twitter over FB, but thats just me.

Twitter usage is fairly minimal, mine auto-syncs every hour for both Twitter and FB

@2manyPHONES Ah okay, thanks for clarifying!

@PSXBatou Yeah..I couldn't find the "retweet" or "reply" button. I can read the tweets, and send a new tweet. I also can mention someone...but just don't see those buttons.
