Twitter Push Notifications Samsung Galaxy S5

Hey people new to the forum..... just needing some massive help with twitter push notifications with my samsung galaxy S5 specifically with specific accounts. I googled the twitter help with it and it told me to go into the selected account and press the star key next to the follow button as follows:

To set up notifications for new Tweets from selected accounts:

1. Go to the account's profile on the app.
2. Tap the star icon located next to the follow button. You will now receive notifications when that account tweets.
3. To stop receiving notifications, simply tap the star icon again and then tap Yes from the menu that pops up.

Note: If you are following accounts via SMS, you will automatically start to receive their Tweets as push notifications. You will see these accounts in the Tweets option of your notifications settings.

Now I have looked for it on the samsung galaxy S5 and it is nowhere to be seen... just wondering if any one has had the same problem and whether they found a solution. It has worked on all previous samsung galaxies that I have had. Really doing my head in as I receive important information from certain posters....

Hey guys just an update i turned the phone off and then back on and the star icon has now appeared and i have clicked it on for the 3 twitter accounts i follow but it still wont work. Is there a setting i have got to change on the phone?

To help us further, are you using the official Twitter app from Google Play or one pre-installed on the S5?
