you could just do an autofeed of new threads out of the forum, gives the site more exposure and takes no time to do. or you could use it to post site news and updates, or run contests, etc.

If we ran the entire site's RSS through twitter I think that little bird would spontaneously combust. WAY too many threads/posts. We could potentially add an RSS button to each forum so people could subscribe.

Would like to get some more opinions on this, if you would like, wouldn't like it, wouldn't care and how you might want to see it implemented.

well the vbtwitter mod can be adjusted as to not blow up twitter, the rss icons should show on each page with the browser window to the right.

Just an idea, perhaps like a link to the hot thread of the day/week or something. If this can be done automatically in some way, at a certain time post the most visited/replied to thread of that day. You can communicate new announcements from it too.
