Two Flytouch 3 related LOLS

The first is for a short time I had 24Gb internal memory in my Flytouch 3 last night. How you might ask? I was replacing the 16Gb class 4 with an 8 Gb class 6 to test performance differences. After successfully removing the 6 and flashing a new ROM. I heard a distinct rattle inside the pad. Yes I had placed the 16Gb on the bottom housing while I stuck the 8 into the TF slot and forgot to pick it up and put the whole thing back together. So technically for a short while I had 24Gb of internal memory.

The second may not be a lol but more of a tip. A neighbor received a new Flytouch 3 they ordered online and asked me to upgrade the memory and flash it. To my surprise someone had placed a breakaway warranty sticker across the bottom left corner of the display to prevent opening the pad.

Ok I get it. With all the people doing drop ship and legit little guys who buy 10 at a get screwed by returns due to some monkey poking around inside it seems a good idea. But 2 tidbits for the resellers, the first being that it was tried with PCs but, at least in the US, was determined to be unenforceable because the nature of the beast is modular and marketed for user accessibility. People did sue and got their money plus attorney's fees for their trouble. Possibly with tabs it might be considered different although the F3 does have at least one user replaceable part that does not require any changes or alterations The second being if you do decide to do this anyway make sure that your order the right sticker. Some sticker adhesive is designed for different surfaces and in this case you can peel it off and on until the glue runs out because it doesn't hold to glass or plastic. I think if something happens to it I will take it apart and leave a note in it when they ship it back....
