Upgraded to Gingerbread and have two outstanding items that Sprint hasn't been able to fix. Wanted to alert others (and welcome suggestions):
1. ActiveSync - I no longer can post to calendar or respond to requests from Exchange as the phone doesn't work with MS Exchange. Have spent hours on phone with Sprint and have been sent to the store (will update after getting there). Having a 'smart' phone without a calendar doesn't really work. (Have pulled battery, resync-ed profile, etc.)
2. Y! Mail - yes, I know most use gmail, but the phone worked fine with their stock mail program until Gingerbread. No longer works (state it is a Y! port issue) and told me to download Y! Mail app - which is slow and not that robust. While I guess I have to move to gmail (maybe this was done on purpose) it doesn't make sense not to support 'old' mail systems.
Any suggestions are welcome - but also wanted to warn before you upgrade. I would have left at last release if I had known about these issues.
