Help two question about the latest firmware and wallpaper

1. Im using US att and i bought this phone online, which is European version.
Baseband version is I9100xxkI1 ( i hope this is the right one to look at). my question is how come some people get 2.3.5 update, but my phone is still 2.3.4

2. i download some HD wallpapers, when i try to set it as background, either i have to use the scrolling one, or re-size it. I dont want to use the scrolling nor resizing it. Any solution?

I updated to 2.3.5 on my own. (Using ODIN). I am on AT&T as well.

As far as the wallpaper goes, Android uses scrolling wallpapers because it has multiple homescreens. If you don't want to use scrolling wallpapers then you need to use a different launcher.

i updated to 2.3.5 WEEKS ago via kies...no problem doing so. Im on AT&T as well...

I went through hell to get on this APN b/c its the "correct" one for their "4g" devices. ie - att gs2, infuse, etc to get faster speeds. Ive been getting shitty speeds on it compared to when i was using the wap.cingular one.

i used to be on their basic $10/month non-smartphone plan and was getting rocking speeds...what gives?

I dunno. I still use wap.cingular and get great speeds.
