Trying to get me addicted even more? : p Sounds cool though. And my game name is Calypso. I started playing only a few months ago so I can't say that my tanks are the best in the world but it's fun :) Whats your fish name if I may ask, I'd love to see your tanks!

Hi all - it's been a while since I have posted anything on this forum but I want you to know that I do check it regularly and am always happy to learn from it.

Given that - may I pick your collective brains please. I messed up with one of my backgrounds and was wondering if I could fix it. I had the Easter background in one of my tanks and wanted to move it to another. I was under the impresssion that if I used another one, my background (that wasn't free), would just move to my inventory. Well that didn't happen. It just disappeared. I thought if you bought a background you kept it. Any ideas on how to get it back? Or what I did wrong in order to not do it again. I did this last night, so I don't think I could just restore it. I'd appreciate any help with this. Thanks...
 
Can someone please help revive my fish, they are dead becuase I had to work a long weekend. I am new and didn't know they would die.

Hello again. It may take me a while sometimes to come back here since I'm pretty busy but I'll be around :) It was fun looking at your tank TapRos and you too Tamagoshi. Although it took forever for my phone to try and load your tanks! After seeing them though I was glad, you certainly have a lot of cool stuff. I particularly liked both of you purple themed tanks, not sure why maybe I just like the color.

But after seeing the bubble reward in one of your tanks for breeding 30 seahorses in the event I'm not happy I didn't have enough tanks to get them all. I didn't know it would be fun like it is but just thought it would be a stationary bubble.

Also it's been nice to log in and see that you sometimes feed my fish because sometimes I'm busy and is nice that someone else did it :P I'll try to keep up with some fun tanks to keep you interested...although I'm sure you have everything and have seen most everything already lol.

Also I'm curious, since it's relatively hard to earn fish bucks, and you both seem to have quite a lot of items from fish bucks, I must ask how do you accomplish it all? Do you buy them with real money or is there some secret I don't know about? Because honestly that must cost a fortune!

And in breeding news I finally got my Siamese Snapper yay! ^^ And is it just me or is the Discus Gold really cute? :D

This has probably been covered but I don't have time to read all 11 pages of replies.
But I started earning fishbucks from Level 1.
Someone said they didn't start earning them until level 43? I don't understand. Maybe you earned them and didn't notice?

The other way to earn them is of course, to install suggested apps. But they're limited.

And I was really upset when I accidentally bought a gold pearl and wasted something like 10 fish bucks. I didn't mean to purchase it, and there's no "undo."

Here's a suggestion for the app's developers:
Sell a paid version that allows users to buy all items with coins. A one-time investment to play the full game, as it should be. I'd pay $15 or $20 once to buy a game. But I won't invest real money in fish bucks.

Yes, it is hard to earn fishbucks. I have spent about $50 in real money and that's a lot for a game like this. I have all the breedables but very few of the non-breedable premium fish. I don't have any expensive backgrounds either. If one were to actually buy enough fishbucks to buy all the premium fish and backgrounds plus some decorations, I estimate it would cost around $500! I've also downloaded a lot of apps for the free offers. However, some players root their phones and are able to edit the files and take some shortcuts.

The bubble is kind of cute but some of the other showering decorations are quite annoying. They had showering shells for the crabs. I didn't win them and am glad because everybody that got them started to get really annoyed -- and there's no way to turn them off!

They only recently started awarding one fishbuck each time you level up, so some people had already reached a high level before receiving any fishbucks.

No, there's no Undo. However, there IS a way to return an unwanted purchase. I've done this twice and wish I had known about it earlier because I've wasted at least 30 fishbucks or more on fat-fingered taps. If you make a mistake, do a Restore (tap Menu, About Tap Fish, Restore Game). It basically restores the last saved game from the servers and "undoes" the changes you made since you last started the game. It isn't exactly an Undo because it's not restoring from local memory, and it won't work if you get disconnected from the servers.

I have suggested the Undo feature to the developers. It seems like it would be a simple enhancements and save a lot of frustration.

we used to be able to see our neighbors' tank names but they have since changed it so that we can only see generic tank numbers. According to the developers, some people wanted to keep their tank names private. This makes no sense to me. Most of us name our tanks for a reason -- by theme, color, breeds, etc. and often direct friends to specific tanks (I'm pround of my "Ugliest" tank, for example). Now we have no way of pointing people to specific tanks, or for visitors to necessarily know what they are looking.

If you agree that they should bring back the ability for visitors to see our tank names, please email the developers.

I wonder if it depends on your version. I'm not auto-updating anymore, I hated the last one, that annoying WIN button I keep hitting by accident, and the Live Wallpaper button both take up screen space. There should be a menu/options to turn those off.

TapRos I visited your tanks, I can see the names, SillyFishy, PuffWed etc.
My tanks right now are more about making cash. I have 10 tanks full of Royal Grammas and I don't bulk sell, 'cause I'd lose most of the profit.

The Win button is actually a good thing! You win a small prize every day, like a few coins or xp, and on the fifth day you get a free jackpot spin, with prizes like an algae eater (most likely) or some fishbucks. They had a really silly back to school event though and prizes included things like a crayon or apple. For a fish tank? The backgrounds were neat but unfortunately I didn't win any.

Yes the tank numbering thing happened on the last update. However if you don't update you miss out on some fun things like the seahorse event.
 
Well, when I first tried to play the game, it said it cost 24 fish bucks to play.
So I was going to tell you how I'll never use real cash to buy fish bucks, went into the game to check on the cost of playing, and got to play for free. ???

Did they do away with pay-to-play? I wish I'd known sooner.
 
To my knowledge this has never been a pay to play game. You need to earn/buy fish bucks in order to get the 'premium' items but that is optional.

TapRos, I have received school items in my last two jackpot spins :( I'd like my algae eaters back, please!!!!

The Jackpot Spin is free on the fifth day. You have to claim your daily prize in order to get a free spin. The daily prize is available 24 hours after your last spin (I think), and then is only available for a day. If you tap the Win button and see CLAIM under one of the daily boxes, claim your prize. Check back everyday to claim your prizes.

If you try to spin the jackpot before the fifth day, it will tell you it costs 25 fishbucks to spin.

I think I received two school items - a crayon and a globe - but the last couple of times I've received the starfish algae eater.
 
I got a school bus, starfish algae eater, then a globe, bus and yesterday a lunchbox :( I need more algae eaters, that or a few hundred free fish bucks :D

I guess you're just lucky! ;) At least you didn't get the crayon. The globe would have been all right if it were much larger. I actually like the school bus but didn't get one (I got one on my iPod and takes up half the screen). I was really hoping for the chalk board background, which I also received on the iPod but not on the Android.

But I agree, I prefer the algae eaters (or a few hundered fishbucks). I did get awarded two fishbucks for just a daily spin once. On the iPod, I got like 24 fishbucks once for the jackpot spin. But on the last two spins, all they have been giving me are like a 100xp.
 
It would be nice if we could send one and other gifts. I have a few school busses now and I could easily part with one. I understand not allowing people to send items which cost bucks but we should be able to send coin items to one and other.

I am liking the events and in particular the new backgrounds. Stinks that I have to unload all my breeding tanks to get them but I think they're worth it. What I would like to see is a way to turn off the falling shell/bubbles. I didn't claim the shells because there wasn't a way to stop them and I thought it was ugly. The bubbles on the other hand look all right but there still needs to be a way to kill them. I've even thought of deleting that tank and just buying a new one.
